M11

Distance sensor CCD digital

CCD sensors have advantages on measuring edges and they feature absolute accuracy and linearity independent of the surface quality. For that reason, the M11 is qualified for application on all non-transparent materials. In consequence of the particular measuring method - this sensor is specialized for structured surfaces or for rough and at the same time mirror finished objects.

Like nearly all our sensors, also the M11 works according to the principle of triangulation. The resolution from 0.0025 mm (0.098 mil.) is according to the range of high accuracy. Quick results are rendered with a sampling rate of 10 kHz and a response time of 0.2 ms.
The measuring rate is regulated by intensity of light (gloss level) of the object. Alternatively, the sampling speed can be fixed.
LEDs are signalizing the operating state (limits of measurement range: MIN/OK/MAX - Error - Power).
The slight light point diameter (0.8 mm) (0.031in.) enables the recording of small components.
Five sensor types from measuring range 10 up to 150 mm (0.39 up to 5.9 in.) are available.
Due to the separated evaluation electronics, it was possible to minimize the sensor head. Connection cable (2 m) (78.7 in.) and Blue Box (evaluation electronics) are included in delivery.

Preferred areas of application:

•  all non transparent materials, from black rubber, to wood,
   plastics, varnish, to aluminum
•  structured surfaces (e. g. wood, leather, stone)

Delicate surfaces, pale to dark changeover, varnished, rough and at he same time reflective objects or structures. The M11 is measuring credibly e. g. length, thickness, angle or distance.
