This versatile usable sensor with integrated CCD line affords very precise measuring results on nearly all surfaces - from black rubber right up to polished metal. |  | Like nearly all our sensors, also the M3-2 works according to the principle of triangulation. The resolution from 0.006 mm is according to the range of higher accuracy. Objects from 1 mm are realized reliably. The exposure rate of 0,6 to 20 ms and the measuring frequency of 1,5 kHz allow up to 1500 readings / sec.
Seven versions for measuring ranges from 5 to 600 mm are obtainable.
The electronics is placed inside the sensor head, only a connection cable is necessary (included in delivery).
The cleverest characteristic of this sensor is the laser shutdown (on/off) .
